Club

Club is our weekly meeting at 9pm on Monday nights.  This is a time for members to have a good time together in a casual setting.  Clubs are planned ahead of time and are very different from week to week.  Sometimes we play games; other times we get to know each other better.  No matter what we do, it is always a time to look forward to in your week!

Service Projects

Service projects are a great way for members to get involved beyond the weekly club meeting.  Our service officer provides multiple opportunities for Camarada to serve the community.  Service projects from the past include making dinner for the Ronald McDonald house, volunteering at Alternatives, sponsoring financial needs for a child overseas as well as needs that arise in our own campus community, and providing Christmas trees to those in need.  Our biggest service event of the year is our annual Praisefest -- a free carnival for families in the Anderson area.

Bible Studies & Accountability Groups

Our club chaplain does a fantastic job of organizing bible studies and accountability groups to help plug members in to more intimate circles.  The fact is that we are a big club, but one way we make sure members stay connected is by involvement in these groups.  We have a high percentage of participation in these groups and they are effective in helping members to grow in their faith and create deeper relationships.  We also have a Spiritual Retreat each semester where we spend time as a club reflecting on how we can better follow the way of God.

Social Events

Social events are a way for members to stay connected apart from our weekly meeting and campus activities.  We have two officers dedicated to planning events that are fun to get involved in.  Past social events include: progressive dinners, pumpkin carving, formals, holiday shopping trips, movie nights, etc.  There will never be a lack of things to do in Camarada!
